Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number
by Pedro Artur
Gameplay - under an aerial view, which refers to the first games of the GTA franchise, the player, wearing an animal mask, must enter different establishments to commit massacres in various ways. In view of this, the killer can interact with the scenarios to equip himself with knives, baseball bats, clubs, machine guns, pistols with silencers, shotguns, etc.
Audiovisual experience - the game provides an experience worthy of sticking to memory. The scenarios have vibrant and pleasant colors, very reminiscent of the visual style of the early 90s. The liters of blood that stain the carpets and tiles of Miami buildings stand out amidst 8-bit objects, while events are interrupted by slight neon-filled psychedelic cutscenes.
Audio: it is possible to say that Hotline Miami 2 has the best selection of songs of recent times. The tracks range from electronic beats with minimalist melodies from synthesizers, to mesmerizing guitar sounds that simulate narcotic effects. Believe it or not, the compositions that make up the soundtrack can be more "crazy" than the overly violent proposal.
History - In Wrong Number we have nine playable protagonists who act between the years 1985 to 1991, with several jumps between 86, 87, 89 with the latter being parallel to the events of the first game, and much of the plot focusing on 90 and 91. The characters vary between different points of view, with one half focusing on the vision that society has after the acts of Jacket (protagonist of Hotline miami 1) went to the public, and another part of the protagonists work on the plot to move it and give the long-awaited conclusion.
Platforms - the game is available for Playstation 3, Playstation 4 and PC
